Autumn is the time most of the revenge/consequence happens. Somehow I am concern whether that this autumn something bad may happen as a consequence of the prolonged heat and recession lasting for >1years. Waiting for xy2 to shed some lights on the cosmic force analysis
In Japan, we have been having a cool and not too hot summer, good in that we do not need to suffer the heat, which can be quite strong, but bad because we will not have delicious fruits come autumn. Usually the apples, peaches, pears and grapes do well and are very sweet if we have a hot summer.
This year we had the rainy season (short) then a few days of heat, then typhoon came and caused landslides etc….almost mid August now.
Usually this is the hottest time of the year and people go off for the obon holidays (the ghost festival as the Chinese call it….welcoming home the ancestral ghosts etc. I am quite unfamiliar with the details as I was never really brought up to celebrate the ghost festival..)
Anyway, let’s blog on while we wait for the AKAN DATANG new posting……which is still in production.
S’pore already recorded 9 deaths from H1N1 flu. Wonder why no countries are barring us from entering their lands like Mexicans, earlier on. We are just a tiny dot in the world map while Mexico is much much bigger. So 9 deaths can be quite a lot, if view proportionately.
We are also getting a doze of haze from the forrest fires in Indonesia. It’s a perrenial thing that can’t be prevented. Sundays’ National Day celebration went through successfully with no rain & clear skies.
Don’t know why Singapore kept counting the H1N1 deaths.
They completely forgot about it in the US and In Japan!!
No one ever mentions it at all, not the news, not the guy on the street.
When it was first announced, all masks were sold out. Japan is a mask loving country, they make masks in all shapes and sizes and comes with Mickey or Hello Kitty, or any character you prefer. Adult sizes, female sizes, child size, etc. Pink, blue, yellow, black and white. Your choice.
Now they are doing a bargain sale on masks and no one is buying them!!
S’pore is the opposite; we try to hide our flu, to avoid wearing mask. We avoid wearing mask in order not to draw attention to ourselves. The glare of people in the trains & bus will kill them faster than the flu!
If Japan were to export their excess mask over, better start sending over those skin coloured ones or those with nose & mouth drawn on them, so they can camouflage & even hide their identify with a different lower part of the face drawn on. This should be a best seller?
H1N1 is getting worrisome over here in M’sia. We had 500 new cases reported in just 1 day, and deaths climbed to 68, the 2nd highest in Asean after Thailand. One of it was a 39 yr old secondary school teacher teaching in our neighbourhood.
Schools closed early before school holidays. Let’s hope things get better.
Hehehe….that’s really reassuring…!
sounds like a teaser…
AKAN DATANG!!!

The “coming soon” sign has been up a while…..we are all getting very worked up as to what is going to be in the new production!
I think we can expect a big new production that is not the same as before.
XY2 please give us something before summer disappears on us!!
