Sharon Stone remarked in Cannes that the recent tragic earthquake in Sichuan that killed more than 60,000 and made millons homeless is a result of karma (because China did bad things in Tibet and Dalai is her friend).

On May 12, 2008 at 14.28 hour, the Earth went berserk in Sichuan Province with a powerful tremor, many villages/towns were reduced to rubbles in 60 seconds. Sichuan is the most populated province in China (more than 100 millions). Most affected towns/villages were the most inaccessible. Qomolangma ?

That is Mount Everest in Tibetan Language. 珠穆郎玛峰(zhu mu lang ma) is a direct translation in Chinese.
Qomo means “Goddess” and “langma” means “the Third”. This is because there are 4 peaks in the neighbourhood, Qomolangma is the third peak. It is the most sacred mountain to Tibetans.
